Hôm nay, chúng ta sẽ đi đến Bài 72 – Ngữ pháp JLPT N3 – ふりをする (furi o suru)

1. Giải thích ngữ pháp JLPT N3 – ふりをする (furi o suru)
Meaning: To pretend, to act as if
Formation:
Verb-casual + ふりをする
Noun + のふりをする
いadj + ふりをする
なadj + なふりをする
2. Các câu ví dụ thông dụng nhất
「いやだ！」しゃくりあげるふりをしながら彼女がわめいた。
“i don’t wanna!” she screamed while pretending to sob convulsively.
Iya da. shakuri ageru furi o shinagara kanojo ga wameita.
彼女は聞こえないふりをした。
She pretended not to hear.
Kanojo wa kikoenai furi o shita.
中田さんは独身のふりをしているが、結婚していて３人も子供がいる。
Tanaka looks like a single guy but in fact he’s married with three children.
Tanaka san wa dokushin no furi o shiteiru ga, kekkon shiteite sannin mo kodomo ga iru.
彼は何かを探すふりをした。
He pretended to look for something.
Kare wa nani ka o sagasu furi o shita.
ケーキがまずかったけれど、二人ともおいしそうなふりをした。
Although the cake tasted horrible, the two of them pretended that it was good.
Keeki ga mazukatta keredo, futari tomo oishisou na furi o shita.
彼はそのことについて知っているふりをしているが、本当は知らないと思う。
He pretends to know about it but i don’t think he really does.
Kare wa sono koto ni tsuite shitteiru furi o shiteiru ga, hountou wa shiranai to omou.
木村さんは息子などいないというふりをしていた。
Kimura acts like he doesn’t have a son.
Kimura san wa musuko nado inai to iu furi o shiteita.
女の子が寝ているふりをしていた。
The little girl pretended to sleep.
Onna no ko ga neteiru furi o shiteita.
おじさんが新聞を立てて開いて読むふりをした。
My uncle opened the newspaper and pretended to read it.
Ojisan ga shinbun o tatete hiraite yomu furi o shita.
彼女は、結婚直前に破談になっても、平気なふりをした。
She pretended to be calm even when her engagement was broken off before the wedding.
Kanojo wa, kekkon chokuzen ni hadan ni natte mo, heiki na furi o shita.
実際宴会関係の用がある人も、あるいは用があるようなふりをして来る人も、めったに中にいれてもらえないくらいでした。
Even those who had, or pretended to have party business were seldom allowed inside.
Jissai enkai kankei no you ga aru hito mo, aruiwa you ga aru you na furi o shite kuru hito mo, metta ni naka ni irete moraenai kurai deshita.
時々、彼は会議中に居眠りをするが、わたしはただ見て見ぬふりをする。
Sometimes he naps in the meeting, but i just look the other way.

Many of us have experienced being angry with someone and then having to pretend everything’s great in public.
Dareka to kenka o shite iru noni, hitomae de wa nakayoshi no furi o toritsukurotta keiken ga dareshimo aru koto darou.
イツキは道に迷った旅行者のふりをしてあたりを見まわした。
Itsuki made a show of glancing around like a lost tourist.
Itsuki wa michi ni mayotta ryokousha no furi o shite atari o mimawashita.
私はベンチに深く腰をかけ、せっせと割り算をしているようなふりをしながら、うまく顔がかくれるような具合に石板をもっていた。
He had sat well back on the form, and while seeming to be busy with his sum, had held his slate in such a manner as to conceal his face.
Kare wa benchi ni fukaku koshi o kake, sesse to warisan o shite iru you na furi o shinagara, umaku kao ga kakureru you na guai ni sekiban o motte ita.
最初のうちショウタはいかにも記録を取っているようなふりをしていたが、すぐうとうと眠り込んでしまった。
At first shota pretended to take some notes, but he often fell asleep.

Manzoku shita to iu no de wa nai keredomo, otto o anshin saseru tame, sono you na furi o suru koto ni shita.
自信がもてないときに私が使う技の一つは、とりあえず自信があるふりをすることだ。
When i don’t feel confident, one tactic i’ve learned is that it sometimes helps to fake it.
Jishin ga motenai toki ni watashi ga tsukau waza no hitotsu wa, toriaezu jishin ga aru furi o suru koto da.
すべてを自分がコントロールしているふりをすれば、そうなのだと周囲が考えてくれる。
Pretend to be completely in control and people will assume that you are.
Subete o jibun ga kontorooru shite iru furi o sureba, sou na no da to shuui ga kangaete kureru.
わたしはいつもテレビをつけて、それを見ているふりをしていた。
I always switched on the tv and pretended to watch it.
Watashi wa itsumo terebi o tsukete, sore o mite iru furi o shite ita.
