Hôm nay, chúng ta sẽ học Bài 133 – Ngữ pháp tiếng Nhật JLPT N1 – ことだし (koto dashi)

1. Giải thích ngữ pháp tiếng Nhật JLPT N1 – ことだし (koto dashi)
– Meaning: Since; because
– Formation:
Verb-casual + ことだし
Noun + のことだし
いadj + ことだし
なadj + なことだし

皆さんお帰りになったことだし、そろそろ会場を片付けましょう。
Since everyone’s gone home, let’s clean the hall.
Minasan okaeri ni natta koto dashi, sorosoro kaijou o katazukemashou.
木村さんのことだし、隠す必要もありませんが、いま胸中ある問題で悩んでいるのは事実ですよ。
Mr. kimura, there is no use denying that there is something on my mind.
Kimura san no koto dashi, kakusu hitsuyou mo arimasen ga, ima kyouchuu aru mondai de nayande iru nowa jijitsu desu yo.
時間もあることだし、お茶でも飲みましょうよ。
Since we still have time, let’s drink tea or something.
Jikan mo aru koto dashi, ocha demo nomimashou yo.
現在の良人とは結婚してから三年にもなることだし、もはや自分の地位は確実だと安心している。
Since she has been married three years, she believes that her position is quite secure.
Genzai no otto towa kekkon shite kara sannen ni mo naru koto dashi, mohaya jibun no chii wa kakujitsu da to anshin shite iru.
雨もやんだことだし、そろそろ帰りましょうか。
Since it stopped raining, let’s go home.
Ame mo yanda koto dashi, sorosoro kaerimashou ka.
まだよいのうちで、人通りもあることだし、金の像などもって歩いたら、人目につく。
Since it’s early and there are folk upon the roads, we might be seen with the gold statue.
Mada yoi no uchi de, hitodoori mo aru koto dashi, kin no zou nado motte aruitara, hitome ni tsuku.
あの人も謝ったことだし、許してあげよう。
Since he has apologized, let’s forgive him.
Ano hito mo ayamatta koto dashi, yurushite ageyou.
彼は引退したことだし、むろんここらで結婚する気でしょうね。
Doubtless, now that he has retired, he will marry.
Kare wa intai shita koto dashi, muron kokora de kekkon suru ki deshou ne.
あの人の欠点に対しては自然とまたその罰がめぐってくることだし、僕がなにもあの人のことをとやかく言う筋はないよ。
However, his offences carry their own punishment, and i have nothing to say against him.
Ano hito no ketten ni tai shite wa shizen to mata sono batsu ga megutte kuru koto dashi, boku ga nani mo ano hito no koto o toyakaku iu suji wa nai yo.
しかし、こういったことはばかげたことだし、表面的なことです。
But that’s all nonsense, and on the surface.
Shikashi, kou itta koto wa bakageta koto dashi, hyoumenteki na koto desu.

そんなことはみんなわかりきったことだ。そんなことはおもしろくもなければ、大切でもありゃしないや。そんなことはいつだってあったことだし、これからもあることなんだもの。そしていつだって同じことだ。
That all comes of itself, and there’s nothing interesting or important about it because it has always been so, and always will be so. and it’s all always the same.
Sonna koto wa minna wakarikitta koto da. sonna koto wa omoshiroku monakereba, taisetsu demo arya shinai ya. sonna koto wa itsu datte atta koto dashi, kore kara mo aru koto nan da mono. soshite itsu datte onaji koto da.
年寄りをいじめるなんて、ことにあなたにとっては恥ずかしいことですよ…つれないことだし、あなたのような立場にあったらなおさら…
You ought to be ashamed of yourself, teasing an old man like that, and in your position, too.
Toshiyori o ijimeru nante, koto ni anata ni totte wa hazukashii koto desu yo. tsurenai koto dashi, anata no you na tachiba ni attara nao sara.
