Hôm nay, chúng ta sẽ học Bài 56 – Ngữ pháp tiếng Nhật JLPT N1 – をよそに (o yoso ni)

Despite the citizens’ protest, the construction of the park is still going on.
Juumintachi no kougi koudou o yoso ni, kouen no kensetsu keikaku ga susumerarete iru.

Without knowing how worried her parents are, she went to iraq alone.
Kanojo wa oya no shinpai o yoso ni, hitori de iraku ni itta.
親の期待をよそに、子供たちは毎日ゲームに熱中している。
Ignoring their parents’ expectation, the children are addicted to games.
Oya no kitai o yoso ni, kodomotachi wa mainichi geemu ni necchuu shite iru.
あの子は教師の忠告をよそに、相変わらず悪い仲間と付き合っている。
Despite the teacher’s warning, that child is hanging out with bad kids as usual.
Ano ko wa kyoushi no chuukoku o yoso ni, aikawarazu warui nakama to tsukiatte iru.
彼女は自分の失敗をよそに、他人の批判ばかりしている。
Without worrying about her own failures, she always criticizes other people.
Kanojo wa jibun no shippai o yoso ni, ta’nin no hihan bakari shite iru.
田中さんは周囲の心配をよそにヨットで長い航海に出た。
Without knowing how worried other people are, tanaka went on a long sail on his yacht.
Tanaka san wa shuui no shinpai o yoso ni yotto de nagai koukai ni deta.
その人との生活をよそにしては、彼女は何ひとつ考えることも、望むこともできなかった。
She could not frame a thought, not a wish apart from life with this man.
Sono hito to no seikatsu o yoso ni shite wa, kanojo wa nani hitotsu kangaeru koto mo, nozomu koto mo dekinakatta.
彼女は、自分が苦労しているのをよそに、カーペットバッガーやスキャラワグが楽しみお金持ちになっていくのを苦々しい思いで見ていたが、彼らを非難するようなことは決して言わなかった。
