1. Giải thích ngữ pháp tiếng Nhật JLPT N4 – てしまう (te shimau)
Meaning: To do something by accident, to finish completely
Formation:
Verb-てform + しまう
Verb-てform (－て) + ちゃう
Verb-てform (－て) + じゃう
2. Các câu ví dụ thông dụng nhất
あ、大変。急いで来たから財布を忘れちゃった。
Oh no. i left in a hurry so i forgot my wallet.
A, taihen. isoide kita kara saifu o wasurechatta.
鍵をかけずに出かけてしまいました。
I went out without locking the door.
Kagi o kakezu ni dekakete shimaimashita.
ワインは全部飲んでしまった。
I drank all the wine.
Wain wa zenbu nonde shimatta.
小遣いはもう使ってしまったの。
You spent all your pocket money?
Kodzukai wa mou tsukatte shimatta no.
この本はたった二日で読み終わってしまった。
I finished reading this book in two days.
Kono hon wa tatta futsuka de yomiowatte shimatta.
僕、どうしてあんなことやっちゃったんだろう？
Why did i do something like that?
Boku, dou shite anna koto yacchattan darou.
この手紙を書いてしまってから出かけます。
I’ll go out after i finish writing this letter.
Kono tegami o kaite shimatte kara dekakemasu.
わたしは風邪を引いてしまいました。
I caught a cold.
Watashi wa kaze o hiite shimaimashita.
昨日メガネをかけたまま寝てしまった。
Yesterday i went to bed without taking my glasses off.
Kinou megane o kaketa mama nete shimatta.
あいつ、どこ行っちゃったのかなあ？
I wonder where that guy went.
Aitsu, doko icchatta no kanaa.
なんとか目を開けようとしても、すぐまた閉じてしまう。
My eyes, which i try to open, close against my will.
Nan toka me o akeyou to shite mo, sugu mata tojite shimau.
どうしてあんな約束をして自分を縛り付けてしまったんだろう？
Why did i bound myself with such a promise?
Dou shite anna yakusoku o shite jibun o shibaritsukete shimattan darou.
最悪の事態を経験すると、なにかを心から恐れるということがなくなってしまう。
After you’ve faced the worst, you can’t ever really fear anything again.
Saiaku no jitai o keiken suru to, nanika o kokoro kara osoreru to iu koto ga nakunatte shimau.
いったい誰がこの致命的な秘密をあの子に知らせてしまったのか、私どもにはわかりませんでした。
We never knew who had revealed this fatal secret to that child.
Ittai dare ga kono chimeiteki na himitsu o ano ko ni shirasete shimatta no ka, watashidomo ni wa wakarimasen deshita.
私はそういう人物を見ると、美化してしまう傾向があります。
I look at a person like that and i have a tendency to idealize them.
Watashi wa sou iu jinbutsu o miru to, bika shite shimau keikou ga arimasu.
道化の力を注ぐのは、物事をちゃかして冗談を言うことではなく、みんながつられて笑ってしまうような滑稽さをつくりだすことです。
The clown effort is not to joke about things but to create a certain level of humor whereby people laugh along.
Douka no chikara o sosogu no wa, monogoto o chakkashite joudan o iu koto dewa naku, minna ga tsurarete waratte shimau you na kokkeisa o tsukuridasu koto desu.
最後の方の場面を、ある記者の方が望遠カメラで撮影して、結末がバレてしまったんですね。徹夜までして撮影したのに放送前に記事が出てしまい、がっかりしました。
Some reporter shot the last scene with a long-distance camera so the ending was spoiled. we even had to stay up all night filming, but the article was published before it was broadcasted. i was so disappointed.

My father passed away when i was fourteen. it was tough, losing our house and all.
Chichi wa watashi ga juuyon sai no toki ni takai shite shimaimashita. ie ga nakunattari suru nado, kurou mo arimashita.
あなたのアルバム、大好きです。でも、片手で演奏されているということを、いつも忘れてしまいますね。
I love your album, but i often forget you’re playing with one hand.
Anata no arubamu, daisuki desu. demo, katate de ensou sarete iru to iu koto o, itsumo wasurete shimaimasu ne.
まちがった相手に力を貸すことを引き受けてしまった。
I agreed to provide services to the wrong man.
Machigatta aite ni chikara o kasu koto o hikiukete shimatta.
