Hôm nay, chúng ta sẽ đi đến Bài 86 – Ngữ pháp JLPT N3 – わりに (wari ni)

1. Giải thích ngữ pháp JLPT N3 – わりに (wari ni)
Meaning: For, despite, although, unexpectedly
Formation:
Verb-casual + わりに
いadj + わりに
なadj + なわりに
Noun + のわりに
2. Các câu ví dụ thông dụng nhất
彼は年のわりには若く見える。
He looks young for his age.
Kare wa toshi no wari ni wa wakaku mieru.
テストの勉強をしなかったわりには、よくできた。
Although i didn’t study for the test, i did well.
Tesuto no benkyou o shinakatta wari ni wa, yoku dekita.
彼女は細いわりには体が丈夫だ。
She’s skinny but strong.
Kanojo wa hosoi wari ni wa karada ga joubu da.
このレストランは値段が高いわりには、おいしくない。
This restaurant is expensive yet the food is not delicious.
Kono resutoran wa nedan ga takai wari ni wa, oishikunai.
お金がないわりに、よく買い物をするね。
Even though you say you have no money, you go shopping a lot, don’t you?
Okane ga nai warini, yoku kaimono o suru ne.
わたしは甘いものばかり食べるわりにあまり太らない。
Even though i eat sweet stuff all the time, i don’t get fat.
Watashi wa amaimono bakari taberu wari ni amari futoranai.
このピザは安いわりにはおいしい。
This pizza is cheap but delicious.
Kono piza wa yasui wari ni wa oishii.
あの学生は試験の成績がいいわりには、日本語が通じない。
Although that student has good grades, he can’t communicate in japanese.
Ano gakusei wa shiken no seiseki ga ii wari ni wa, nihongo ga tsuujinai.
このアパートは駅から近いわりには高くない。
Although this apartment is near the station, it’s not expensive.
Kono apaato wa eki kara chikai wari ni wa takakunai.
僕はカクテルを一口飲み、ゆっくりと客席を見渡した。雨の降っているわりには席はよく埋まっていた。
I took a sip of my cocktail and glanced around the bar. a nice crowd, considering the rain.
Boku wa kakuteru o hitokuchi nomi, yukkuri to kyakuseki o miwatashita. ame no futte iru wari ni wa seki wa yoku umatte ita.
団地の規模の割りに負債が少なく、家賃収入は年間一億円に達している。
Our debt is very small relative to the size of the apartment complex, and our rent roll has reached about one hundred million yen a year.
Danchi no kibo no wari ni fusai ga sukunaku, yachin shuunyuu wa nenkan ichi oku’en ni tasshite iru.
ありがたいことに、年のわりに聡明で思いやりのある弟が慰めてくれた。
Luckily, i had my younger brother, wise and empathetic way beyond his years, to console me.
Arigatai koto ni, toshi no wari ni soumei de omoiyari no aru otouto ga nagusamete kureta.
気むずかしい顔の割りには、人がよさそうだ。
He has a hardfeatured yet good-natured looking face.
Kimuzukashii kao no wari ni wa, hito ga yosasou da.
新鮮な感じがする割りに、けばけばしいところがない。
They look fresh without being glaring.
Shinsen na kanji ga suru wari ni, kebakebashii tokoro ga nai.
友喜は背が高い割りにやせている。
Tomoki is too slim for his height.
Tomoki wa se ga takai wari ni yasete iru.
