Hôm nay, chúng ta sẽ đi đến Bài 100 –Ngữ pháp JLPT N3 – つまり (tsumari)

1. Giải thích ngữ pháp JLPT N3 – つまり (tsumari)
Meaning : In other words; that is to say
Formation:
Phrase 1 + つまり + phrase 2
2. Các câu ví dụ thông dụng nhất
彼女は姉の娘。つまり、わたしにとっては姪です。
She’s my elder sister’s daughter. in other words, she’s my niece.
Kanojo wa ane no musume. tsumari, watashi ni totte wa mei desu.
それは盗聴器、つまり虫よ。
That’s a listening device, in other words, a bug.
Sore wa touchouki, tsumari mushi yo.
山田さんは、携帯もパソコンも持っていない。つまり、メールで連絡はできないのだ。
Yamada doesn’t have a cellphone or computer. in other words, we can’t contact him via email.
Yamada san wa, keitai mo pasokon mo motte inai. tsumari, meeru de renraku wa dekinai no da.
父の兄、つまりわたしの伯父は、医者をしている。
My father’s elder brother, in other words, my uncle, is a doctor.
Chichi no ani, tsumari watashi no oji wa, isha o shiteiru.
わたしは君の名付親でもあるんだよ。つまり、君の両親が、わたしを君の後見人に決めたのだ。
I’m your godfather. it means… your parents appointed me your guardian.
Watashi wa kimi no nazukeoya demo arun da yo. tsumari, kimi no ryoushin ga watashi o kimi no koukennin ni kimeta no da.
彼は獣医、つまり、動物のお医者さんです。
He’s a veterinarian. in other words, he’s an animal doctor.
Kare wa juui, tsumari, doubutsu no oishasan desu.
死後にできた傷からは出血しない。つまり、ヘンリーは生きている。
Postmortem wounds don’t bleed, which means henry is alive.
Shigo ni dekita kizu kara wa shukketsu shinai. tsumari, henrii wa ikite iru.
妹は大学を卒業後、しばらくは母と同じ道を歩んだ。つまり結婚し、子供が成長するまで家庭にいたのだ。
After my little sister graduated from college, she followed my mother’s path at first, which means marrying and staying at home while her children grew up.
Imouto wa daigaku o sotsugyougo, shibaraku wa haha to onaji michi o ayunda. tsumari kekkon shi, kodomo ga seichou suru made katei ni ita no da.
つまりあたしは広島へ行けないってことなんでしょ、ほんとにいやんなっちゃう。
I suppose that means that i shan’t be allowed to go to hiroshima, which is very annoying.
Tsumari atashi wa hiroshima e ikenai tte koto nan desho, honto ni iyan nacchau.
この部屋あなたのじゃないでしょう？つまり最初にあなたが予約した部屋と違うんでしょう？
This isn’t your own room, is it? i mean not the one you originally booked?
Kono heya anata no janai deshou. tsumari saisho ni anata ga yoyaku shita heya to chigaun deshou.
この推測に矛盾することが一つだけある。つまりきみがここへ着いた晩きみを殺そうとしたことだ。
The only thing that militates against that theory is the attempt to put you out of the way the night of your arrival here.
Kono suisoku ni mujun suru koto ga hitotsu dake aru. tsumari kimi ga koko e tsuita ban kimi o korosou to shita koto da.
それであなたもほんとにそうだと思っておいでなんですか、つまり宇宙人が存在すると？
And you really think that’s true? that aliens exist, i mean?
Sore de anata mo honto ni sou da to omotte oide nan desu ka, tsumari uchuujin ga sonzai suru to.

Watashitachi no tabi wa kono bubun, tsumari chijou kara hajimarimasu.
つまり偶然の一致にすぎないっていうの？
It was just a coincidence, you mean?
Tsumari guuzen no icchi ni suginai tte iu no.
つまり彼は抜け目のないビジネスマンなわけね？
So he’s quite the shrewd businessman, huh?
Tsumari kare wa nukeme no nai bijinesuman na wake ne.
