Hôm nay, chúng ta sẽ đi đến Bài 87 – Ngữ pháp JLPT N3 – わけにはいかない (wake niwa ikanai)

1. Giải thích ngữ pháp JLPT N3 – わけにはいかない (wake niwa ikanai)
Meaning 1: must not, cannot afford to, can’t very well
Meaning 2: must, have no choice but to
Formation:
Verb-casual, non-past + わけにはいかない
Verb-ないform + わけにはいかない

The test is coming so i must study hard.
Mou sugu tesuto ga aru node, isshokenmei benkyou shinai wake ni wa ikimasen.
彼女は「結婚しないと自殺する」と脅したから、結婚しないわけにはいかない。
She threatened to commit suicide if i wouldn’t marry her so i have no choice but to do so.
Kanojo wa kekkon shinai to jisatsu suru to odoshita kara, kekkon shinai wake ni wa ikanai.
行くと約束したから、行かないわけにはいきません。
I promised that i’d go, so i have no choice but to go.
Iku to yakusoku shita kara, ikanai wake niwa ikimasen.
明日は一年で一番忙しい日なので、会社を休むわけにはいかない。
Tomorrow is the busiest day of the year so i can’t afford to take a day off.
Ashita wa ichinen de ichiban isogashii hi na node, kaisha o yasumu wake ni wa ikanai.
あとで車を運転するので、今お酒を飲むわけにはいきません。
I’ll have to drive later so i must not drink now.
Ato de kuruma o unten suru node, ima osake o nomu wake ni wa ikimasen.
あなたの人生をサイコロを振って決めるわけにはいかないでしょう。
You would not stake your life on the cast of the dice.
Anata no jinsei o saikoro o futte kimeru wake ni wa ikanai deshou.
あいつを逃すわけにはいかない！絶対に捕まえる！
I can’t afford to let him escape. i will definitely catch him!
Aitsu o nogasu wake ni wa ikanai. zettai ni tsukamaeru.
どうやって１分で学校に行くの？飛んで行くわけにはいかないし。
How am i gonna go to school in 1 minute? it’s not like i could fly there.
Douyatte ippun de gakkou ni iku no. tonde iku wake ni wa ikanai shi.
彼は知りすぎている。自由にしてやるわけにはいかない。
He knows too much. we can’t afford to let him go.
Kare wa shiri sugiteiru. jiyuu ni shiteyaru wake ni wa ikanai.
ご主人を奪った僕が、娘さんまで奪うわけにはいきませんよ。
I’ve already taken your husband from you. i can’t take your daughter away as well.
Goshujin o ubatta boku ga, musumesan made ubau wake ni wa ikimasen yo.
